Installing a build that is not notarized yet

Apple has not notarized GazeKeeper yet, so macOS warns you the first time you open it.

  1. Open the DMG and drag GazeKeeper into Applications.
  2. Open GazeKeeper from Applications.
  3. If macOS refuses, open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway next to GazeKeeper.

The first run

A short setup shows you what a break looks like.

    A quiet heads-up

    By default, one minute before a break, a slim pill gives you time to finish the sentence you are in.

    The screen takes over

    An overlay with a countdown covers every display. Look past the monitor.

  3. 3

    Pause, snooze or skip

    Use the menu bar to pause, snooze or skip. A call, a screen share or a fullscreen app holds the break on its own.
